News from Scandinavian Outdoor Group
We are today 57 members in SOG. So far this year, we have welcomed three new members into SOG.
In Januari Varg and Amok joined, both quite young companies. Varg is an outdoor clothing company from the Swedish west coast and Amok, from Trondheim in Norway, produces innovative outdoor hammocks.
Last week we also welcomed LillSport to our family, one of the most popular brands for outdoor and X-country gloves in Europe.

OUTDOOR ACADEMY OF SCANDINAVIA – KIDS!
|
|
For the very first time we will organize an Outdoor Academy of Sweden (OAS) for KIDS, 2-5 June. Or rather for retailers and press together with their kids. They will explore outdoor life in Sweden for families, with the gear and equipment from the SOG brands.
Activities like canoeing, hiking, climbing, fishing, outdoor cooking, navigation etc will be in the program. The academy is located to a beautiful outdoor area in Dalsland. OAS is organized in close co-operation with Visit Sweden.
Inviting companies: Didriksons, Helsport, Hilleberg, Morakniv, Reima and Isbjörn.

SOG SUSTAINABILITY NETWORK
|
|
| CSR and sustainability are increasingly important topics for our members. During 2016, a Sustainability Network has started up within SOG in co-operation with Joel Svedlund, sustainability resource at Peak Innovation and member of the EOG sustainability council. So far, the network includes around 80 people with various functions in the member companies. |
|
|
| The network aims to strengthen information flows and competence on Sustainability topics within SOG, as well as simplifying collaboration among member companies where needed. |
|
NEW BOARD OF SOG
At our Annual Assembly in April, we elected a new fantastic board of SOG. |
