Shelter Loft ® is highly compressible, very soft, and feels a lot more down-like than any other synthetic insulation. It also has remarkable water-resistance properties: it does not absorb dampness and water, so guarantees a high thermal efficiency even in wet weather.

HOW Shelter® works?

Shelter Loft® consists of a matrix of ultrathin fibers. The huge number of "the isolated cells" with air per volume unit in comparison with the usual fibers, interferes with active conductive heat exchange between a body and environment and provides bigger thermal resistance (0,22 CLO/100 g/sqm).

WHY professionals use Shelter Loft®?

The first reason is the increasing cost of duck and goose down. Shelter Loft® provides a very high degree of softness and a high lofting appearance. Shelter Loft® is closest to down in warmth for weight and compressibility. It’s also machine washable and dryable.
